解析羅德島設計學院(RISD)建筑本科項目及申請

BArch | 5-year program
繼哈佛、耶魯、MIT之后，RISD是新英格蘭地區第四所為NAAB認證的獨立院校。羅德島建筑項目最具優勢的一點就是能夠集合美術(繪畫和雕塑)和設計來達成建筑所學要的深度和廣度。學生不僅可以受益于美術的強烈的視覺沖擊也可以在課程中接受以人為本的教育理念。當然，喜歡動畫、平面設計、版畫以及雕塑的學生可以參與建筑學學習過程中。
Curriculum
課程中最為特殊的就是冬季6 周課程Winter Sessions (a 6-week periodbetween the Fall and Spring terms)。這個課程是以多元性著稱，而這個課程對申請到羅德島設計學院的學生是十分重要的，因為學生可以在此課程中學習到各項關于藝術方面的基礎課程，例如繪畫、工業設計、銅塑等其他課程，不同的系可以相互選擇課程選修。
冬季班也可提供到海外學習的機會，可以讓參與此課程的學生到歐洲巴黎、意大利 Matera 和愛丁堡等地學習觀摩。
當然，項目的第五年，學生可以根據自身對建筑系統的深入的調查和分析，選擇self-determined degree project進行最終的課業。
