鬼子一教授面試，氣氛友好而熱烈，唯一讓我害怕的是空氣中充滿了濃濃的學術氣氛。
Prof: 你對什么方向感興趣？
me: I am very interested in ....
Prof: 你看過我們主頁上的兩個項目吧，你對哪個感興趣？
me: I am interested in the first one.
Prof: 你學過什么課程？ s
me: xxx, xxx ...
Prof: 你學過什么優化的方法嗎？
me: Newton method. （語塞，不知如何往下說），I don't know how to describe it in English because I all I learn is in Chinese.
Prof: (表示理解)，你來我們學校想選什么課？
me: xxx, xxx, xxx.
Prof.: 你覺得有什么課程對你將來作項目有用？
me: Information Theory, ...
Prof: 你有什么問題？
me: Would you please tell me what projects will you do in the near future?
Prof: ... (電話極其不清楚，老美講得極快，10句里頭只聽到了5句不到)
me: Is the living expense high in ...?
Prof: (語塞, pardon了我一回).
me: I mean the living expense.
Prof: (以為我在問offer, 把錄取過程講了一遍)
Prof: do you have any other questions?
me: no.
Prof: Have you applied for other universities?
me: Yeah, I have applied to about 10 universities, including ...
Prof: Have you got any offers now?
me: Yeah, I have got a RA from .... If I was selected by you, I will make a decision carefully before and Apr 15 deadline.
Prof: The application result will be available at the end of March....(聽不清楚，好像是說再見)
me: Thank you for calling. I do appreciate you give me such a good chance to talk to you.
Prof: Good bye.
me: Bye.
總的來說，面試的時候應該盡量減緩語速，因為老美用的是IP卡，聲音很不清楚。一開始我就說的有點過分fluent了，結果老美放心大膽地 用Native Speaker的速度在侃。整個Interview持續了15minutes.
